BANGOR, Maine (AP) - A 42-year-old Bangor man has pleaded guilty to federal charges that he operated his home as a drug mart for heroin.

Daniel Lyons pleaded guilty to maintaining a drug involved premises. Court records say he allowed dealers to store and sell heroin in his home on a daily basis and received heroin as compensation.

Lyons faces up to 20 years in prison and a $500,000 fine. A call to his attorney, Hunter Tzovarras, was not immediately returned.

Federal Drug Enforcement Administration and the Maine Drug Enforcement Agency investigated the case.
