ITHACA, N.Y. (AP) - A 31-year-old central New York man is in jail after police say they found drugs, seven guns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition inside his vehicle.

The Ithaca Journal reports (ithacajr.nl/1RxarTW) that Ithaca police say officers found the drugs and weapons after pulling over Corbin Whyte’s car Monday evening because there was an active warrant out for his arrest for a harassment charge.

Officials say the firearms included two fully loaded semi-automatic handguns, a 12-gauge shotgun with a pistol grip and an AR-15 assault rifle with three fully loaded magazines, two with 30-round capacity.

Police also found hundreds of rounds for handguns, rifles and shotguns.

He’s being held on criminal possession of weapons and drug charges in the Tompkins County Jail without bail. It couldn’t be determined if he has an attorney.
