MORGANTOWN, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia forward Devin Williams says he’ll skip his senior season to enter the NBA draft.

Williams made the announcement Tuesday in a statement released by the school.

A three-year starter, Williams averaged 13.3 points and 9.5 rebounds this season. His 16 double-doubles were seven more than a year ago.

Coach Bob Huggins says he supports Williams’ decision and appreciates the contributions and impact he had on the program.

The 6-foot-9 Williams was a second-team all-Big 12 selection.

He averaged 19 points and 11 rebounds in three games this month in the Big 12 tournament, where West Virginia lost in the title game to Kansas. The Mountaineers went 26-9 and their season ended with a first-round loss in the NCAA Tournament to Stephen F. Austin.
