STARKVILLE, Miss. (AP) - Six mayors from around the state are taking part in Mississippi State University’s second mayors’ forum.

The university says its Stennis Institute of Government is teaming with the Mississippi Municipal League for the second year in a row to hold Tuesday’s forum.

Two mayors from each of Mississippi’s Supreme Court Districts take part in the forum.

Set for Tuesday’s day-long meeting were Kelvin Buck of Holly Springs, Eddie Fulton of Quitman, Sally Garland of Crystal Springs, Brad Necaise of Poplarville, Steve Rosenthal of Indianola and Rex Smith of Saltillo.

Each mayor presents a case study on his or her city for discussion. They also will have the opportunity to attend panel discussions with leading experts in the fields of planning and design.
