FALMOUTH, Mass. (AP) - Authorities say four people have been seriously injured in a crash on Cape Cod.

It happened shortly after 9 p.m. Monday in Falmouth. Fire officials say two of the victims were trapped inside the vehicle and had to be extricated.

Fire Captain Bruce Girouard says the victims were taken to Falmouth Hospital with serious injuries. They are expected to survive.

Police say the four victims are in their late teens and early 20s. They weren’t immediately identified. The cause of the crash hasn’t been determined.
