TULSA, Okla. (AP) - An Oklahoma man has been sentenced to more than 21 years in prison after he pleaded guilty to charges related to his involvement with the Universal Aryan Brotherhood, a prison-based gang that has operations in the state.

Federal prosecutors said Tuesday that Ronnie Dean Haskins II acknowledged “his membership in or association with” the gang with his plea.

Prosecutors say Haskins admitted to several criminal activities, including selling illegal drugs, kidnapping and restraining a former Universal Aryan Brotherhood member while gang members burned the victim’s neck with a heated knife.

Haskins was also ordered to serve five years of supervised release after his prison sentence.
