ABBEVILLE, S.C. (AP) - A company that makes plastic molded parts for the automotive industry is locating in Abbeville County where it will create 50 jobs during the next five years.

WG Plastics Technology Corporation announced on Tuesday that it plans to invest $2.7 million in a new facility in the county.

Construction will begin by 2018. But later this year the company plans to begin Abbeville operations operating out of an incubator building at Lakelands Commerce Park.

Hiring for the new jobs will also begin later this year.
