BIG RAPIDS, Mich. (AP) - A 27-year-old Big Rapids man accused of shooting arrows at police officers has pleaded guilty to two counts of assault with intent to murder.

Wesley Snyder is scheduled to be sentenced on May 11.

WOOD-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1WW9sjK ) Tuesday that as part of Snyder’s plea deal, felonious assault and assaulting/resisting/obstructing police charges were dropped.

Police have said officers were ambushed Jan. 16 while investigating an assault. The officers were charged in the hallway of an apartment building.

Snyder and Sgt. Jim Eddinger fell down a flight of stairs.
