ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - Orange County authorities arrested a 45-year-old man in connection with two pipe bombs found in Anaheim last year - and investigators say he could be involved in the explosion of a similar device over the weekend.

Anaheim police Sgt. Daron Wyatt says Donald Paul Busteed was on probation for a pipe bomb explosion when he was taken into custody at his job in Fountain Valley on Monday.

Wyatt says investigators searched his home, where they found explosive-device materials. Busteed could face charges including possession of explosive devices and violating probation. It wasn’t known if he has a lawyer.

The Orange County Register reports (https://bit.ly/1MPDgZC) detectives believe he is responsible for pipe bombs found in November and December.

They’re also investigating him in connection with a bomb that exploded Sunday in Anaheim.

Nobody was hurt in any of the incidents.
