RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (AP) - A woman says she was at work when a blast leveled her Saginaw-area home, injuring her husband, their three sons and two nephews.

The Friday afternoon explosion leveled the Richland Township home. Jova Chapman says her husband, Billy, said he heard a boom and went to get up and see what it was, and the next thing he knew he felt like he was 30 feet in the air. She says that he heard the kids screaming when he came to.

According to Jova Chapman, the couple’s 11-year-old nephew was in a medically induced coma Monday afternoon. She says her husband had multiple broken bones, and that their three sons and 14-year-old nephew were in stable condition.

The Saginaw News (https://bit.ly/1ZHBh0S ) reports it’s unclear what caused the explosion.
