HAMILTON, Mont. (AP) - A Darby man has pleaded guilty in connection to a June 2013 crash that killed his friend.

KECI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1QnqeWZ) that Joshua Vernal Moore pleaded guilty to vehicular homicide while under the influence of alcohol or drugs in the crash that killed Jonathan Russell Trouten.

As part of the plea agreement, three charges of criminal endangerment and three charges of tampering with witnesses were dropped.

According to court documents, Moore, Trouten and three women were in the car when it crashed. Documents show the group had been drinking and using marijuana at the time of the crash.

The plea agreement recommends a sentence of 15 years with 10 suspended. Sentencing is scheduled for May 4.
