UNIONTOWN, Pa. (AP) - A western Pennsylvania man has admitted to murder and burglary charges in the 2013 stabbing death of his former girlfriend in her mobile home.

The (Uniontown) Herald-Standard reports (https://bit.ly/1QtL0FM ) that Henry Crawford, of North Union Township, pleaded guilty on Wednesday.

Crawford will spend 25 to 50 years behind bars for breaking into 49-year-old Lisa Tupta’s North Union Township home in January 2013 and fatally stabbing her in the neck and torso.

Crawford said he had been drinking beer and smoking crack that day. He went to Tupta’s mobile home after she called him, saying she was upset he wasn’t looking for a job.

Records show that Tupta had a protection from abuse order against Crawford barring contact between them.

Crawford is scheduled to be sentenced on Monday.
