NAMPA, Idaho (AP) - Nampa police are looking for two suspects after a property owner fired a weapon when he found squatters inside his home.

KTVB-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1TaLBOW ) that the property owner went to visit a home he rents out on Wednesday and found a man and a woman inside. The owner fired a shot into the floor and the two squatters fled.

The man told police he had fired a shot into the floor in self-defense after one of the squatters started acting aggressively. No one was injured.

The two people who fled the home left a backpack and a sleeping bag when they ran.
