CINCINNATI (AP) - A southwest Ohio coroner has ruled that a man found dead in a fiery crash over the weekend had been shot.

The Cincinnati Enquirer reports (https://cin.ci/1TS2uOo ) 23-year-old Donte Whitehead’s death has been ruled a homicide by the Hamilton County Coroner’s Office.

Police say they responded to the crash just before 5 a.m. on Saturday and found the crashed vehicle off the roadway and on fire. Firefighters extinguished the flames and found that Whitehead was dead inside.

Investigators haven’t said whether they have any suspects in the case.
