WESTBOROUGH, Mass. (AP) - Police say the driver of a minivan involved in a crash with a school bus with no students on board in Westborough has died.

The MetroWest Daily News (https://bit.ly/1UBpvVi) reports that Chief Alan Gordon announced Thursday that 80-year-old Desiree White, of Plymouth, died following the Wednesday afternoon crash.

White was trapped inside her vehicle for about two hours as rescuers worked to free her. Two other people in the van were hurt: 79-year-old Ronald White, of Plymouth, and an 11-year-old girl. Their injuries were not considered life threatening.

White’s van struck the bus at about 4:30 p.m. Wednesday.

Gordon says White’s vision may have been affected by solar glare.

The bus driver was not injured. He had just dropped off his last student.
