VINELAND, N.J. (AP) - Federal agents have captured a driver accused of fleeing the scene of a deadly crash earlier this month.

Bail was set at $100,000 for Rogelia Vega after he was found in Bridgeton on Tuesday. The 23-year-old Vineland man faces several counts, including death by auto and drunken driving, in connection with the March 22 crash in Vineland.

Authorities say Vega was driving westbound on Landis Avenue when he crossed the centerline, left the roadway and hit a tree.

Enrique Gutierrez Jr., a 37-year-old Millville man who was a passenger in the car, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another passenger was hospitalized with a leg injury and a third was treated for minor injuries.
