MISSOURI CITY, Texas (AP) - Investigators are trying to determine what led to the death of a 3-month-old boy at an unlicensed day care center near Houston.

Missouri City police on Wednesday did not immediately release the name of the infant. Lt. Russell Terry says nobody has been arrested in connection with Tuesday’s death.

Emergency medical personnel were unable to revive the boy at the residence where the day care was being operated.

Terry says Missouri City requires day care centers to have permits and that the home, where as many as 10 children were located, did not have a city license.

Missouri City is 10 miles southwest of Houston.
