KILLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A statement issued by the Rutland County town of Killington announces that Deborah Schwartz has been named new town manager.

The Rutland Herald reports (https://bit.ly/1SBfyEV ) that Schwartz previously was airport director of the Worcester, Massachusetts, Regional Airport, executive director of the Bill and Hillary Clinton National Airport in Arkansas and director of aviation services for a company that conducts background checks for airport personnel.

Schwartz will replace Seth Webb, who had been with the town for six years before his resignation in October.

Schwartz holds a bachelor’s degree in government and a master’s degree in public management.
