The Press of Atlantic City reports (https://bit.ly/1RrBvHu ) the prisoners had to be moved to other holding facilities Wednesday night because of the smoke and smell at the Harborfields juvenile detention facility in Egg Harbor City.
Officials say the blaze broke out around 7:30 p.m. The dryer was in a room with cinderblock walls and the flames were contained to the laundry room. All of the prisoners were taken to other facilities by 10 p.m.
