WEST LINN, Ore. (AP) - West Linn has reached a “mutual separation agreement” with a city administrator who claimed she was passed over for the interim city manager position.

The Oregonian reports ( ) that under the agreement, Kirsten Wyatt will no longer be employed with the city.

The agreement comes about four months after Wyatt, who has worked for West Linn since 2007, filed a tort claim alleging that Mayor Russ Axelrod ruined her reputation by telling a consultant that she “was part of the problem with administration.”

The claim also said Wyatt would sue for unspecified damages related to gender discrimination.

Under the separation agreement, Wyatt will receive compensation and severance pay in exchange for withdrawing her gender discrimination claims. She will also no longer vie for the city manager position.
