DAYTONA BEACH, Fla. (AP) - The deafening roar of engines coming from Daytona Beach is the official announcement that Bike Week is back.
The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://bit.ly/1YfzNdA ) says 500,000 visitors are expected this year for the annual celebration of all things dealing with motorcycles and their riders.
The motorcycle festival started Friday and lasts 10 days.
Chamber of Commerce official Janet Kersey says this year’s crowds look very promising, and Daytona Beach merchants have reported a surge in business.
