LAS VEGAS (AP) - A Las Vegas substitute teacher is accused of kissing a male student several times because she wanted revenge against her fiance.

The Las Vegas Sun reports (https://bit.ly/1Yd8IHW) that 23-year-old Robyn-Lea Gentile was arrested this week on two felony charges of sex acts with a student age 16 or 17.

According to an arrest report, the Harney Middle School teacher and the victim met during an extracurricular program for students from her school and Las Vegas High.

Police say Gentile and the high school student traded 800 text messages.

They say Gentile gave the student rides twice a week and the kissing allegedly occurred in her car outside his home.

Gentile is scheduled to appear in court Monday.

She was a Clark County School District employee for three years.
