SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - A West Valley woman is recovering after police say she was stabbed by a friend several times.
KUTV of Salt Lake City reports (https://bit.ly/1U1Gn71) that police were called to a home near 3191 South 4060 West around 2:30 a.m. Saturday about a possible stabbing.
Police Lt. Julie Jorgensen says the victim was found at a neighbor’s house bleeding and she said she had been stabbed.
Jorgensen says she was taken to a hospital with multiple stab wounds.
She is currently in stable condition.
The victim told police she had gone to bed when one of several friends staying over entered the room and allegedly stabbed her.
The victim says she escaped through a bedroom window.
Jorgensen says officers have not found the suspect and are not yet releasing information.
