LANDER, Wyo. (AP) - An SUV that crashed into the Wyoming Department of Transportation’s Lander office on Sunday is forcing some areas of the facility to close until further notice.

Chief department engineer Gregg Fredrick says part of the building had to be boarded up and a survey is under way to determine the extent of structural damage.

The facility provides permits to truckers and other important services in north central Wyoming. Public access will be limited to some parts of the building.

People who need oversize and overweight permits are being asked to work through the Riverton office.

Lander police did not return phone calls on Sunday seeking details about the accident and driver.
