ROSSITER, Pa. (AP) - Fire officials in western Pennsylvania say a man was found dead in a blaze that destroyed two garages.

Volunteer firefighters in Indiana County responded after flames were reported in the structures just before 8 a.m. Saturday in Canoe Township.

Fire chief Joseph Pisano Sr. said the fire in the garages, both wooden structures with tin roofs, had burned for some time before firefighters arrived.

He said they found no one home at the residence, and there was no indication that anyone was unaccounted for until the body was found about an hour after firefighters arrived.

Coroner Jerry Overman Jr. said Saturday evening that the victim had not yet been positively identified and DNA tests are being done.

A state police fire marshal is investigating the cause of the blaze.
