LISBON, Portugal (AP) - FC Porto lost 3-1 to Braga to drop six points behind leader Benfica in the Portuguese league on Sunday.

Braga remains fourth but it cut the gap to Porto to eight points.

Two-time defending champion Benfica reached the top of the standings thanks to a 1-0 win at former leader Sporting Lisbon on Saturday. Benfica has 61 points, two more than Sporting after 25 rounds.
