LARAMIE, Wyo. (AP) - Wyoming senior guard Marquelle Dent has been named to the All-Mountain West team for the second year in a row.

Dent also was named to the conference’s All-Defensive Team.

Meantime, teammate Marta Gomez was selected to the league’s All-Freshmen Team.

Dent led the Cowgirls in points (15.5 ppg), assists (5.5) and steals (2.0). She was also first on the team in minutes played, field goals and attempts.

Dent recorded double-figures in 14 of 18 games while leading the team in assists 16 times, steals 12 times and eight times in scoring.

Gomez started in all 18 games during conference action, averaging 10.3 points and 5.1 rebounds in 31.6 minutes per play.
