DOTHAN, Ala. (AP) - Dothan police say they’ve arrested seven men as part of a prostitution sting.

Police said in a statement that the suspects answered online advertisements and solicited undercover officers.

The Dothan Eagle reports (bit.ly/1QBJAsJ) that the sting concluded Saturday.

Police said they conduct such operations to stem criminal activity, and that prostitution frequently is associated with human trafficking and drug activity.
