DOVER, Del. (AP) - Dover Police say several gunshots were fired while a crowd of hundreds was loitering in a dance club parking lot.

The department said in a news release that officers were called to Bubba’s Nightclub early Sunday because 300 to 400 people were loitering in the club’s parking lot and the Home Depot lot next door.

Investigators say while officers were dispersing the crowd, gunfire erupted in Bubba’s parking lot. Authorities say no one was hurt, and one vehicle was damaged.

Police recovered 22 shell casings from two different caliber firearms in the parking lot.
