MIDDLETOWN, R.I. (AP) - Two suspects charged in the killing of a man in a Middletown hotel are being held without bail.

WPRI-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1X7C2yu) that 49-year-old Lavern Price, of Newport, and 41-year-old Todd Sullo, of Providence, were arraigned Monday on first-degree murder and conspiracy charges.

The pair was arrested Thursday after a high-speed chase in Connecticut that ended with them crashing their car near New London.

The black Acura was owned by 51-year-old Mark Lussier, of Mount Pleasant, South Carolina. Lussier was found partially submerged in a bathtub at the Quality Inn in Middletown on March 1.

Police haven’t disclosed a motive but confirmed that Price and Sullo were registered as staying in the room with Lussier.

Online court records don’t list attorneys for Price and Sullo.
