HONOLULU (AP) - Authorities say a 75-year-old woman has died after being struck by a car while crossing a street in Honolulu.

The victim, who has not yet been identified, had been in a crosswalk Friday night when she was hit by a 90-year-old driver.

The pedestrian was taken to the hospital in critical condition and later died.

Honolulu police are still investigating what caused the crash.

Friday’s death marked the seventh traffic fatality on Oahu this year. There were 11 deaths reported at the same time in 2015.
