COATESVILLE, Pa. (AP) - A Lincoln University student has been shot and killed after what investigators are calling an arranged robbery set up by an eastern Pennsylvania man.

Coatesville police say 22-year-old Christopher Robinson was shot in the neck and died on the way to a hospital Saturday night.

Investigators say 24-year-old Evander Wilson drove the Philadelphia man and another victim to an area in the city, where they were eventually confronted by three masked men who robbed them. Police say one of the men fatally shot Robinson during the robbery.

Authorities say Wilson contacted multiple people to arrange the robbery of Robinson and the other student. He’s charged with second-degree homicide, robbery and related offenses.

It’s unclear if he has an attorney who could comment on the charges.
