LAKEWOOD, Colo. (AP) - Police say a Lakewood man who had been reported missing almost a month ago was found dead in a Denver-area reservoir.

In a statement, Lakewood Police said a couple fishing at Main Reservoir on Saturday saw something that was later found to be a man’s body. Police and the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office identified him Monday as 49-year-old Michael Edlin.

Police say Edlin’s family last saw him Feb. 10 when he walked away from his Lakewood home. Police received a missing person report that day.

Police say their investigation is continuing. They have no reason now to suspect a crime led to Edlin’s death.
