JUNEAU, Alaska (AP) - The Latest on an incident in which police say a woman fatally shot herself in front of the state courthouse in Juneau (all times local):

4:05 p.m.

Juneau police say the woman who fatally shot herself at the entrance of the state courthouse is 34-year-old Juneau resident Miranda Ellen Davison.

Police said no one else was hurt in the incident. The shooting occurred in front of the building, which is directly across the street from the state Capitol

Police say Davison’s next of kin have been notified and that an autopsy is planned in Anchorage.

12:15 p.m.

Juneau police say a woman fatally shot herself in the chest in front of the state courthouse in downtown Juneau.

In a release early Monday afternoon, police said no one else was hurt in the incident. Police say the woman had not yet been identified.

11:55 a.m.

Juneau police have responded to a call in which a woman apparently shot herself in front of the state court house in Juneau.

The shooting occurred in front of the building, which is directly across the street from the state Capitol. Yellow tape marked off the area from the Capitol steps to the front of the courthouse.

The condition of the woman was not immediately clear.

A witness reported hearing one gunshot.
