LATROBE, Pa. (AP) - Two former St. Vincent College football players waived their right to hearings on felony marijuana charges and hope to strike plea agreements.

That’s according to attorneys for 22-year-old Renny LaRue-Holloman, of Pittsburgh, and 21-year-old Joey Milhomme, of Hollywood, Florida.

State police say both men fled onto a porch roof when an apartment was raided on Feb. 27 and police found 10 pounds of marijuana, $1,370 in cash and a digital scale inside.

LaRue-Holloman has withdrawn from the private Catholic school about 40 miles east of Pittsburgh. Milhomme remains a student but is suspended pending the outcome of the criminal case.

Their attorneys say both young men haven’t been in trouble before and waived Tuesday’s preliminary hearing as they try to resolve the case in a way that allows them to have productive futures.
