CONCORD, N.H. (AP) - Gov. Maggie Hassan says seven New Hampshire companies have been awarded a total of nearly $97,000 in job training grants to help them train 129 workers.

The companies contributed matching funds to bring the total amount for training to over $193,000.

The companies getting grants from the New Hampshire Job Training Fund are Charles Leonard Steel of Concord; Concord Awning & Canvas of Bow; Stamping Technologies Inc. of Laconia; Liberty Utilities of Londonderry; Intec Automation of Rochester; Bald Peak Colony Club in Moultonborough; and Ipsumm Inc. of Portsmouth.

The fund has awarded over $8.6 million in grants since October 2007.
