CARTERSVILLE, Ga. (AP) - The Bartow County Coroner’s Office has confirmed they have found the body of a missing teacher in Cartersville.

WGCL-TV reports (https://bit.ly/1M4eiFE) that 30-year-old teacher Scott Salter’s body was found overnight. The cause of death is still under investigation.

A statement released by Cartersville police says the teacher didn’t show up for work Monday morning at Cass High School. Salter’s car was found in the parking lot of the Cooper’s Furnace Hiking Trail.
