COUNCIL BLUFFS, Iowa (AP) - Council Bluffs police have arrested a man suspected of fatally shooting one man and wounding another.

The man was taken into custody early Tuesday and is being held on charges of robbery, attempted murder and murder. Police identified him as 22-year-old Wesley Correa-Carmenaty. Online court records don’t list the name of an attorney who could be contacted to comment on Correa-Carmenaty’s behalf.

Police say officers were dispatched around 6:30 p.m. Monday to check a gunshots report at an apartment. The officers found the body of 22-year-old Anthony Walker. Police say another man, 32-year-old Patrick Schutz, already had been taken to a Council Bluffs hospital for treatment of a wound to his left arm.
