SAN BERNARDINO, Calif. (AP) - Authorities say a motorist was killed when his car was broadsided by a stolen-vehicle suspect during a high-speed police chase in San Bernardino.

Police Lt. Rich Lawhead says the crash happened before dawn Tuesday on an onramp to Interstate 215.

Lawhead says the allegedly stolen vehicle with two occupants ran red lights before smashing into a Honda, killing the male driver. His name has not been released.

The Sun newspaper reports (https://bit.ly/1U1Ph5R ) an 18-year-old man and a 21-year-old man in the suspect vehicle were hospitalized with complaints of pain.

They are expected to be booked after they are medically released.
