LAS VEGAS (AP) - The season is over for the Wyoming Cowgirls after they lost to San Diego State 62-44 in the first round of the Mountain West Conference championship tournament Monday in Las Vegas.

The Cowgirls finish the season with a 13-16 overall record and 6-12 in the league.

Senior Marquelle Dent led Wyoming with 13 points, eight assists and two steals. She finished her career with 1,337 points, 514 assists and 181 steals in 117 games.

Sophomore Liv Roberts followed with 12 points and a team high nine rebounds while sophomore Natalie Baker brought down seven rebounds and had 6 points.

The Cowgirls shot 18-of-58 (.310) from the field and 4-of-20 (.200) from beyond the arc while committing 16 turnovers.
