CANONSBURG, Pa. (AP) - Authorities say a fire that destroyed a 150-year-old farmhouse in western Pennsylvania doesn’t appear suspicious, but the cause remains under investigation.

Fire crews in Washington County were called to the North Strabane Township residence at about 2 p.m. Friday.

Fire chief Mike Grimm told the Pittsburgh Tribune-Review (https://bit.ly/25flexV ) that he suspected that the blaze had been burning for at least a half-hour before the call came in.

He said arriving units found the residence engulfed in smoke and flames, and it wasn’t declared under control until three hours later. No injuries were reported.
