DELAND, Fla. (AP) - Authorities say a man was killed after he was hit by a car and dragged 50 to 60 feet a few blocks from Stetson University.

Deland city officials say the unidentified pedestrian was hit early Saturday morning in what they are calling a hit and run accident. The Daytona Beach News-Journal (https://tinyurl.com/hr3fvkz ) reports the man is around 30-years-old.

No other details were released.
