SOUTH BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - Vermont Republicans are gathering for a full day Saturday, starting with a prayer breakfast in the morning, the state party convention in the afternoon and a dinner in the evening.

The day kicks off at 10 a.m. at the Doubletree Inn in South Burlington, with a prayer breakfast led by Rep. Vicki Strong of Albany.

In the afternoon, the party will hear from candidates and elect delegates to the Republican National Convention in Cleveland.

A dinner at the Sheraton Hotel and Conference Center will feature John “Tig” Tiegen, a member of the security team in Benghazi, Libya, during the raid there in which four Americans died.
