PROVO, Utah (AP) - A woman is dead after she lost consciousness while taking part in a zip line tour at Sundance Mountain Resort.

Utah County Sheriff’s officials say the 55-year-old woman became unresponsive while participating in a ZipTour excursion Friday.

According to the resort, she was an out-of-town guest who became unconscious.

The resort did not give details about what she was doing at the time.

She was taken to a Provo hospital but pronounced dead.

Sheriff’s Sgt. Spencer Cannon says investigators have not yet determined if she died as a result of a zip line accident.

Cannon says she did have injuries to her torso.

A state medical examiner will perform an autopsy.

The woman’s name was not released Saturday.
