ST. CLOUD, Minn. (AP) - A critic of Islam plans is planning a speaking tour in central Minnesota this week.

The St. Cloud Times reports (https://on.sctimes.com/1WIUUqS ) that Usama Dakdok will speak in Little Falls, Burtrum, Avon and St. Cloud.

Dakdok, founder of the Florida-based Straight Way of Grace Ministry, travels the country giving speeches about his fears that Islam is a dangerous cult. He told the Times that the Quran does not teach love or peace and Islam teaches followers to kill non-believers.

Dakdok’s appearances in other Minnesota and North Dakota cities, including Grand Forks and Bagley, have sparked protests. Police were called to his 2014 appearance in Bagley, where a Muslim woman said Dakdok and the audience harassed her.

The Minnesota chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations says Dakdok’s speeches jeopardize Muslims’ safety.
