VISALIA, Calif. (AP) - A Southern California man has been found dead along a hiking trail in Sequoia National Park.

The Fresno Bee reports (https://bit.ly/1TOCz5C ) authorities received a report Friday evening that the 26-year-old man from Tustin was having abdominal pain.

Two rangers hiked six miles to reach him, but he had died.

The cause of his death is being investigated by the Tulare County coroner’s office.
