SALT LAKE CITY (AP) - Authorities say a suspect went on a rampage in Salt Lake County, slamming his truck into cars and one home.

Unified police spokesman Lex Bell says the ordeal began around 1:30 a.m. Sunday when someone reported a driver had backed into two vehicles and the front porch of a White City home.

Bell say the homeowner was hit with debris.

The driver then allegedly backed into a vehicle at a second home and then hit a tree.

The suspect later rammed into a police substation in Cottonwood Heights.

Bell says 33-year-old Phillip Deluca then abandoned his truck and broke into the home of a business associate.

Deluca allegedly beat the associate while he was asleep.

The victim suffered facial lacerations.

Bell says Deluca will likely be booked on multiple charges.
