WAHPETON, N.D. (AP) - The Wahpeton-Breckenridge Area Chamber of Commerce has reached an agreement to buy the Wahpeton Public Schools district office for its new home.

The Wahpeton Daily News reports (https://bit.ly/250fPqU ) that the chamber will operate out of the 11th Street location starting this fall.

School board members voted to sell the building to the chamber for $260,000 during a meeting earlier this month. The public schools’ administrative offices will move to the new education complex scheduled to open on Loy Avenue this fall.

The chamber also wants the district’s existing office furniture, board room furniture and any other fixtures verbally agreed upon by both parties.
