MAGNOLIA, Ark. (AP) - Two men have been killed in separate auto accidents in southern Arkansas.

Arkansas State Police say 25-year-old James Cooper of Magnolia and 23-year-old Tyler Smith of Crossett died in the crashes on Sunday.

A police report says Cooper died after the sport utility vehicle he was driving on Highway 371 near Magnolia went off the road in a curve and crashed into a tree.

State police say Smith was killed when he was thrown from the vehicle he was driving on Highway 133 in Ashley County as it went off the road, struck a culvert and overturned several times.

The reports say the weather was clear and the roads were dry at the time of both accidents.
