SPOKANE, Mo. (AP) - Authorities say at least nine students were injured when a southwestern Missouri school district’s bus entered a pickup truck’s path on a highway.

KOLR-TV (https://bit.ly/25iM1JT ) reports that none of the injuries from the Christian County accident about 7:30 a.m. Monday on U.S. 65 appears to be life-threatening.

The Missouri State Highway Patrol says the Spokane school district bus pulled out in front of a pickup truck and was hit on the back end.

The injured students, ranging in age from 5 to 18 years old, were taken to hospitals.

The pickup truck’s driver also was sent to a hospital.
